Nice photos of an airshow but there is one technical problem: When you photograph prop driven aircraft you don't want to use a shutter speed faster than 1/250 as any thing faster freezes the props and make it look like the engine is not running. I realize this is a small technicality to most folks but to a pilot it ruins the photo. When you use the slower shutter speed all you have to do is pan with aircraft. Of course with jets, use any shutter speed you want as there is no prop and they are usually going much faster.
Also, in regards to the comments about flying too close to another plane at that speed, here is a picture I took when I was flying F-100s that shows what it looks like from the pilot's viewpoint. To the pilots, it appears the planes are standing still and the scenery is moving. You will notice that none of the pilots is looking where they are going - that is the job for the pilot leading the formation and the rest are maintaining their relative position off the one closest to them. (this is a very simplified explanation of flying close formation)
Thanks for commenting, Shaun. I understand about the prob motion but I tried some images that way and they didn't come out that good. Probably because I'm a little too shaky to pan fast objects and tripods don't work well for fast-moving subjects. The stopped props don't really bother me but I can see how they might niggle a pro.
What kind of aircraft were you in? It appears these were taken at some height.

Believe it or not, these were all done at ground level. I had a great viewing position, though. Thanks for looking.

I would too, Sylvia. Thanks for looking.
You and your brother had a fantastic day at the show. Also had fantastic skies for background. Enjoyed the series.
