Has anyone had any experience selling through MPB.COM? I have a Nikon D5200 body they have offered $205 - free shipping. They have good online reviews but I would like independent input. I have advertised it locally but no offers.
I have used them a number of time both buying from and selling to. They are excellent to deal with and pay promptly. They rate conservatively. I have not been disappointed in any transaction I have had with them.
Just sold two canon bodies, got quotes from B and H, and KEH. B and H paid 500.00 more.

Good outfit, bought and sold with them, no issues. I stay fairly tuned in to equipment values - Values had dropped pre-pandemic, but I have noticed a rise in values lately...possibly due to lack of new stock in some arenas.....which is nice for holders/sellers....not as great for buyers!!
Robert's USEDPHOTOPRO, KEH are also great outfits to work with. If you are honest with your rating, you won't get any downgrades....sometimes they even offer a bit more in "haggle negotiations" after receiving the item....
You should see if anyone on the Hedgehog is interested - list is sale section.

I’ve bought and sold via MPB. They paid based on my assessment, so the sell transaction was quick and easy. Communication good. On both occasions, I tracked the equipment to their front door and had money in the back within 3-5 days. I’ve bought once, price was fair and I think there was a 10 working day return window, and 180 day warranty. Like another responder mentioned, always do the KEH and eBay comparison. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to sell or buy again. One last suggestion, you get a good comparison price whether selling or buying, strike fast because it can all change quickly. It’s all about supply and demand.

BTW the quote from KEH was less than half the quote from MPB.
I was thinking of selling my D810 a while back & MBP gave me the highest quote doubling+ that offered by Nikon or B&H.
Take the money and run before they reconsider the offer.

Thank you BebuLamar... Experience is a brutal teacher...
Remember their initial quote is just that... And subject to final inspection...

I have sold to and bought from them several times...no hassle transactions. I prefer them over KEH.

I have bought and sold items with mpb.com and several other photography online stores.
Always had excellent dealings with mpb with highest prices offered for equipment I wanted to sell.

Have sold quite a bit of gear to them over the years...they have always honored their quotes.
It is in excellent condition, with fewer than 15,000 shutter actuations. If they lowball me, there won't be a lot I could do about it.
I have sold to MPB, and they gave me exactly the price they had quoted. And everything was easy peasy.

Have dealt with both MBP and KEH with very satisfactory results.
