This was an interesting shoot and pic processing experiment/experience.
Pic #1: I liked the lighting; shot and left background dark. It is actually the first of my pics that DeNoise found 0 (as in zero) noise to reduce. It did sharpen the original a bit.
Pic #2: I was intrigued with GBH's one wing extension--it was balancing itself as it walked down a log getting ready to fly. DeNoise reduced noise and sharpened the image--which made it too big to upload without compressing a bit.
Pic #3: I liked the right foot water spout. Pic was already compressed as I did not crop the original. But after DeNoising it, I had to compress it more to get it to upload.
Pic #4: I like the symmetry. Could've been better pic with better depth of field.
Pic #5 and #6 not included.
Last Pic: I like the symmetry. Working on similar pic (of GBH, or Eagle, or Green Heron, or... ) on a sunny day with no wind or pond ripples. And, with winged bird coming towards me (camera).
[Yes, I did run pics 4, 5 and 6 through DeNoise. I do not totally like or swear by the software. I'm more challenged to take better pics that don't need noise reduction or need little to next to none.]
Very nice set.
I really like the last photo.

What a wonderful series! WoW!
Very nice. And similar to my experience. They almost always fly away from me, not parallel to me or toward me. Would that be asking too much???
