At Ocean Isle beach in SC last week. I did not have my Canon Rebel or D3000 with me so I used a Nikon P900. I was surprised at the zoom. I know many are not interested in the bridge camera. Just wanted to show my results.
I was on the second floor balcony to shoot the first and zoomed on the second.
On second floor balcony of house.

Hey, Diane L, I love my p900 Nikon! I use it about 40% of the time; helps me capture a lot of wildlife at some distance and saves me buying lots of expensive lenses and gear. My only other camera is a Fugifilm Finepix (also a bridge camera) ahd it is lighter but still has 50X optical zoom. I've taken approx. 20,000 shots in the past 4+ years exclusively with these 2 cameras. I get published locally in papers often, and sometimes on an area news cast photo feature. Best of luck to ya and have fun ! Tom
I wouldn't say a lot of people are not interested in bridge cameras. Photographers can have a lot of fun with those cameras. Nice photo's you took.
Nice photos. My carry camera is a bridge camera because it is so versatile.
Excellent set - I have the P900 and am always amazed at both the speed of focus and the clarity of photos even at or near maximum zoom.

Great shots❗❗❗You even shot a couple bridges with your bridge camera ⭐⭐⭐
Diane, what counts is that you took a good photo. As long as you like it, that's all that really matters. Thanks for sharing.
