Fresh from the Farmer's Market this morning. I paid $6 for them here in Iowa. Just wandering how much they are in other parts of the country too? I am going to make roasted strawberries with vanilla cream biscuits.
Beautiful strawberries, a great image and another delicious recipe, Jill. Enough to make anyone smile in anticipation of the final result. I always look forward to your posts.
Very nicely done, Jill. The download is beautiful. My local food store has them for $2.00 a pint but you can get them even cheaper at “local pick your own” farms.

Thank you for commenting Joehel. I guess they are cheaper there than in the Midwest. The strawberry season is so short here.

Farmer's Markets are generally (IMO) so much fun and the produce you find is better than the grocery produce section. I really need to find one around my area!!

Very nice, luscious image, JustJill!!
Thank you very much for your kind comments. I totally agree, if I can get it at my FM I do! Not only is the produce better and fresher, I find it is usually less expensive. It is fun getting to know the vendors too. I can't wait for sweet corn, it should be ready about July 4th. Every one knows Iowa has the best sweet corn! LOL I really hope you can find one in your area!
