My new phone used car.
A month ago a lady in Lakeland Florida sideswiped me (her fault) totaled my 1999 Boxster (986) Last Sunday I purchased this 911 (991) 2013.
My wife and I absolutely enjoy it.
Have you sent the other lady a thank you card yet!
That’s a great idea. Funny, first thing she said after she hit me: “I have insurance”.
Worst insurance I’ve ever seen. Did not even cover my car. LOL.
Also, I had just spent $12k rebuilding the engine. Did not even have 150 miles on the rebuilt engine.
Oh well.,.

What was that "lady" driving? Just curious. And was she using her white guiding cane?
I know your sentiments. I had a woman hit my brand new 1966 Mustang in the rear. It happened in the winter of 1966. She was driving too fast for the iced situation. When she started to slide she slammed on her brakes. I stopped her from sliding into heavy cross traffic. But still ended with my bumper bent in the middle and the back panel dented. Fortunately the body repair guys were able to resurrect my car.
Were services planned for the car?

When my Miata grows up this what want it to be. Nice car bro.
Bruce.
She was driving like a Toyota Corolla or something like that.
Got a family in our neighborhood has three Miatas. One of them is not street legal to race car he also has a type of race car that looks like a Camaro. The sun has won the short track speed in Sebring three times. He’s a current short track record holder. Holder.
I guess all's well that ends well. I have always thought the Boxster was the best production car in the world. Now you think the 911 has elbowed it out ???
Sorry about your loss, but your new car is great. And you lived to tell about it! 👍👍👍
Good luck with your new buggy,
Don

Yea they are the poor guys Porche. I have two, a special edition 2001, nice looking and fun to drive. Also a 2000 LS which was daily work horse to work and around town. I drove it to Florida twice. Retired now so will probable sell them.

I also have Dodge Ram truck, 4 door. I drive most of the time now. Always been a truck guy. I plan on getting down to just one vehicle. I LOVE the Miatas. But where I am staying at there is just not enough room and no Garage. So when I want to drive one I have to remove the protective car cover and I have to move one out to the street if I want to drive the one in front of it. I have just been holding off because I love them so much. Honestly back when I decided to get a convertible sport car I initially was looking at the Jaguar X model, they are just so beautiful and the other car I wanted was the Boxter ! I love the Boxters, it was my first choice. I chose the Miata because it was more practical since I was going to drive it daily all year around, it was a real work horse and the most reliable car I ever owned. I sold my house, my sailboat, motorcycles and I even had a WWII airplane project I was restoring. I sold off everything. I do not want to to go into my later years with baggage. The truck will be the last to go but I will have another vehicle by then. I will probably wind up with another truck but not sure yet the prices are just too high. You asked a good question, I think about this almost every day.
Thanks for the reply,
Bruce.

Porsches can become an obsession (a good one), and a 911 is the pinnacle (unless an RS-61 fits into your budget). Congratulations - I hope you keep and enjoy it a long time.
Thanks. Just got back from the car show in Orlando. Quite a few nice Porsches there are also Ferraris Lamborghinis and one Corvette.
