I can't fault Joe Biden for his knowledge of the subject matter but by and large he was a condescending, boor plagued by Bidenus Interruptus last evening. Ryan is not the polished speaker that Biden is but Joe's constant laughing at his debate opponent and interrupting him every few minutes was not a ploy that played well with most/some viewers. Even the moderator had problems keeping him in check. Biden shot himself in the foot again.

I agree. I had to walk away before I got angry. I hate a person who has an attitude like that. Oh, you are wrong, let me straighten you out. You are not expected to know nearly as much as myself so listen to the master. The only thing I can think of is he gets the ol Archie Bunker raspberry from me.

Joe being Joe.....not sure the debate changed any minds which is great for Romney...a push for BHO. Joe is allowed to act that way, it'll be interesting to see if BHO comes out as agressive. It could really hurt him (make him look unpredictable/uneven which is the last thing people want in a President) especially if Romney continues to look knowledgable, controlled and confidant. I'm conservative, but was sure BHO had this locked up till the last debate. Now I'm hopeful.

Again, without any effort, Biden made a FOOL out of himself hopefully for the last time...

Biden was extremly rude, if not downright nasty, and ignored the rules for proper debating...

I think he just borrowed a page from Mitt's playbook........

But interesting that the behavior you saw as rude and nasty does no† seem to apply to the other guy.

Why is that?

Yes, at the same time he was letting Ryan keep putting his foot in his own.

Because Mitt didn't smirk, huff or interrupt like Biden did last night. There's an acceptable level of expression in debating and I think Mitt struck that appropriate balance. Joe went overboard in the first 3 mins. and then just kept going. Shame for his ticket, because he's a pretty bright guy that comes off like a baffoon. He's better than that. At least he could/should be.

Because the 'other guy' was not laughing when the President was speaking. The 'other guy' was not rude and nasty. 8-)

Just following the FauxNews story line. OB looked away and seemed to ignore the lies, Joe smiled and confronted them Faux found both responses inappropriate. I guess they should have used the R response and just Nuked'em.

right - Biden smirked while Ryan squirmed.

Mitt didn't smirk - he simply lied.
