This is my Father-In-Law now 98 years of age. He was a combat engineer during WWII. He is shown here two years ago at the gravesite of his cousin who was killed during the Battle of the Bulge. The cemetery is the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial in Belgium.

Let all those who think that we are so far from where we intended to be that we need to be destroyed instead of renovated, disappear from the face of the earth.

I saw this on a fellow veteran’s t-shirt yesterday, and it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen: “If you can’t find it in you heart to stand behind our soldiers, try standing in front of them sometime.
