~ I'm generally not a fan of thin Steaks from the meat market at the local store (any of them!). This one happened to be in the "Reduced for Quick Sale" section at a very Low-Low price. So, after it passed the tenderness finger push test, I could not resist this Boneless NY!
~ Kwik seared (thin steak remember!) on Lump Charcoal on the Hibachi. Cajun Spices with Sea Salt and fresh cracked Black Pepper. (Yes, I don't mind sometimes adding exotic spices to steak. Not very often, but I will do it!! It's called Adventure!
Medium rare, and Dinner is Served!! Flava-Flav!!
Looks good! I'll have to try Cajun. I mostly use Kansas City or Brazilian mixes.
Wow, that is one beautiful steak - nice grill marks and cooked perfectly. You use a Hibachi, the simplest grill of all, then season and grill a steak you bought in the close-out section and produce outstanding results. Great food always begins with great cooks like you.
