Ulster County is promoting "Grab a Brew with Your Crew." Get your bike-riding friends together and visit the many craft breweries in the county. What could go wrong?

How many times do you or your friends walk to and from a tavern?

They list four local breweries.

Yes, drinking and riding, what could go wrong?

I am sure bikers do that where I live in CA with so many wineries and breweries seemingly everywhere now.

Absolutely nothing! Same as our 4th of July parties where we drink beer and Mojitos all afternoon and then at dusk I hand each person a fistful of fireworks and a Bic lighter.

At least once a week, often more.
Looking forward to increasing my exercise when lockdown measures are eased, so long as this new fangled C19 Indian variant keeps a low profile.

I have a new bike waiting for me in the garage - and a bike rack on the back of my car. I'm all set!

As a biker (motorcycle), I have pledged to not ride, if I have even one alcohol drink. I also believe in ATGATT.

Well, if they have a designated biker.

Until 6 years ago, I owned a Victory touring bike that I really enjoyed. I had 3 simple rules for when not to ride: never on Friday afternoon (end of week happy hour), never at night unless an emergency, and never after having anything to drink myself. The becoming popular option of getting a drink to go before the pandemic could get you arrested in many states just a year or so ago. I can see the benefit in that it may help certain restaurants recover quicker, but in the long run, I can’t imagine a good ending to the story.

I can agree drinking and motor vehicles is a bad combo. The rest of my comment has to be omitted as this is not an Attic topic.
