Yes. Post it on the Members Buy Sell Trade forum. If it is not a "user" a collector may still want it or a tech might buy it for parts.

I also have one - my last film SLR. I'm going to keep it since the value is lower than the shipping cost.

Donate it to your local high school photo club.

And they would put it on display on their "Old Camera" shelf. They've gone mostly digital.
I've often heard that you're not doing schools and libraries a favor by donating your old computers and cameras. They want good, modern equipment, too. Our local libraries will not accept donations of old CRT computer monitors.
The gov't auctions off its old, huge computers. Businesses buy them just to strip out the copper, silver, and gold.
Might make a nice lamp. Seriously, I see lots of old 35mm cameras at flea markets and garage sales, and very few sell at any price. I've been offered several for virtually nothing, and still put them back on the table. The exception might be Pentax, if the camera comes with a usable lens. Digital Pentax cameras still support lenses going back decades, and some work very nicely with today's cameras. Without a nice lens, however, not much interest.

Seriously! There was a discussion a few months ago about old cameras being turned into lamps. GoofieNewfie had some posts about that. If I had any old cameras, I might give it a try. All I have are P&S, and that wouldn't be the same.

If you list it be specific on model and accessories as far as lens. Saves time going back and forth with details.
Why not just keep it?
I have an all manual Pentax K1000 with 2 lenses and a flash unit. Still works and takes great pictures.
Once in a while I feel like shooting film, keeps my photography skills up.
A friend of mine has an amazing collection of antique and oldish cameras. He went to a flee market in the country and found an old china cabinet, brought it home refinished it lined the shelves with felt and placed the cameras in it for display. A great way to keep the history of the hobby.

I would keep it. I have kept my Olympus OM2 and still use it for B&W and 35mm film will still be available through a number of sources.

Agree with that also Canikon Guy - a clockwork classic that was well designed and built is still a pleasure to use and a collectors' piece. Probably not worth selling even boxed mint, shipping would (as someone said) rob any value. But I tell you this; in forty years time the K1000 and OM will still be working, will a Canikon 60D........
though film by then will be $100 a slide when processed !!!! :!:

What to do with film SLR? USE IT! Get the film, 35mm is still available all over the place, & take it with you on a day trip or road trip. Yes, I know: digi is faster, you can take a zillion photos & get rid of all the bad ones, don't have to go trudging all over creation to get the photos back, no negatives to mess around with, ad nauseum. But you'll have to slow down & actually look at the scene. No! No! That's a good thing! Really. The pressure will be on to take a good photo & then to wait 2 weeks or so to see if you in fact did take a good photo.
Someday, I'll tell you how I really feel.
I'll get off my soapbox now.

Not always 2 weeks. Our local Walgreens still process 35mm C-41 in house. Not much longer according to someone at the store but for now. May not be 24hr but next day is not bad.

A few weeks ago, someone said he just finished a roll of Kodachrome and wondered where he could get it processed. Nowhere!
