Trump touted the Abraham Accords as a 'new dawn' for the Middle East. 9 months later, Gaza erupted.

Proves peace deal must include the main players. In this case the Palestinians were not involved .
Likewise we are seeing the same thing in Afghanistan where we dealt only with the Taliban left the afghan government out.

It does not work that way .

Actually, it does work that way. The Arab nations are, by and large, tired of the millstone that the Palestinians are to them. They are also afraid of Iran and those who signed accords with Israel did so for their own safety. Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem, recognized it as the capitol of Israel, recognized Judea and Samaria as not being Palestinian territory. He put the Palestinians on notice that they were losing ground with him and the world. Unfortunately, the Palestinians see Biden as weak, and they took the opportunity to attack. It would not have happened under Trump. In fact, have you noticed the lack of support for Gaza from the other Arab countries? Have you heard a word of support for Iranian backed Gaza from the countries that made peace with Israel?

Yes, creating a peace requires that the involved players come to the table. Trump was forcing the Palestinians to the table by taking things from them (death by a thousand cuts theory) as they resisted. Under Biden, who promised to restore funds that Trump cut from them, they feel that they don't need to be peace partners in good faith.

Really I thought they started shooting at each other long before Biden spoke.

It was pretty quiet in Israel during Trump's presidency. When Biden was elected, things changed.

Things have also changed cyclically over many years, so this is not a first.

But go ahead, blame Biden. Why not. It suits your deification of Trump.

I can go fact for fact with you, but it's apparent you are running on emotions, not facts. Forget your hatred of Trump and follow the facts.

Seriously?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_Israeli–Palestinian_conflict

You really want to go fact for fact on this list? I don't! It has hundreds of incidents listed.

My point was simply that things have erupted many times in the past, so pinning this on Biden is a bit nonsensical.

Your post demonstrates how painfully ignorant you are of the deep rooted, historical history of hatred in the Middle East.

Trump didn’t fix it; Biden didn’t screw it up.

And they always will, without regard for reason or fact.
