This is my first attempt at Photo Art to print and Matte Frame and make cards for sale at an Art Fair this summer. All the Art filters were from Topaz Studio 2. Any comments on the photos themselves or suggestions for frames, color, printing in matte or glossy finish, paper type to print on, good reliable online printers etc. Thanks and appreciation in advance. OOPS! I did not do these in SRGB color so a download is a MUST to see correct color. Thanks. RJW
I'll order one of each, please
For me, all are highly engaging, happy scenes. I don't have any selling experience to share, but I do love what you've done here!
It appears these shots were well done before you applied Studio 2. I would really like to see the pre-Studio 2 shots. I too have no experience selling photos but if I were to guess it think the last one is the best of set.
Great shots, There are home made cards for sale in my village post office and they seem to sell well. I would print one on different types of paper to see which was the best. If you are getting them printed on line ask the printers which paper would be the best as they should know. Good luck with selling them as I am sure they will go...
Nice series of images. #5 is my favorite.
I am not familiar with Topez 2, but I find the end results very appealing.
In #1, I would take out the vertical branch going up the middle of the pic. It is a distraction and adds nothing positive to the image. Things like this most customers might not see at first but after living with something they bought it will be noticed. I would look for other items like this in your work and take them out before going to market.
I am an artist of the paint and brush type and also love my cameras and photography. I sell a lot of cards, photo prints AND art prints. I make my cards 5 x 7 inches and have found that a lot of bird prints that size will sell well in pairs. If I sell them framed, I always use a beige matt because even though a lot of photographers like white matts, sadly white is so bright it often takes away from the picture. I have found over many years that the ones with beige matts sell quicker. Nice work. I wish you many good sales, just be sure if you sell any on line that you watermark them to show them. (you probably knew all that but just in case)
Beautiful images, and best of luck with your art fair sales.
Delightful work on these. Thank you for sharing them here in this section! Good luck with your sales!😊
