Devil’s Tower Challenge--My take

Last week’s challenge photo of Devil’s Tower was mine. If anyone is interested, here’s what I wound up doing with it. I was impressed with many of the submitted edits, including the winner.

The composition is great with the tower framed with foliage and sky. The mist at the top is a plus. Excellent processing, too.

When I was there, the sky was clear blue. I noticed that there were some climbers working their way to the top. My son and I moved a bit closer to get a better look at the climbers. Really cool photo, and a unique place to visit.

Glad to see your edit. I worked on a b/w myself with some cropping. In the middle of moving, and just didn't get to stay with it later in the week. Its such a cool formation.
