I am cool. I am not worried one bit. All I asked for was an opinion on what one of my two lenses to use and a lot of people who wrote went kind of off key.

I think bring all you have that is the body, 2 lenses and the flash. If you want to leave a lens home it would be the 50mm because you will need to have some what wider and narrower angle than the 50mm alone.

As a 1000+ wedding photographer I suggest using the money you would spend for the 2 additional COMPLETE sets of equipment you should have with you to gift them with a professional wedding photographer. I'm not being rude just offering some advice by a pro who faced more than one crying bride asking me to salvage somthing useable from the inexperienced photographer's pile of bad pictures.

Bad wedding photos: Clients will sue you. Got insurance for that. Friends or family will hate you forever and mention their bad photos at every family gathering. Perhaps offer to refer them to one of your professional colleagues, but never agree to photograph a relative's wedding. If you feel obligated to do something to contribute, offer to do a set of bridal formals at your studio or even on location.
