I just planted potatoes for the first time ever. I would post a picture but just imagine a photo of dirt. In about 100 days I hope to post pictures of huge delicious russets.

Exactly right. Hopefully the potatoes will be a better representative of progress than plain old dirt. At least you can see and photograph your success.
