Great photos. I love Germany. There is not a town that doesn't have a history. I have always enjoyed going through old churches. In my wife's hometown of Reutlingen however, there is one dating to 1400 that they turned into a restaurant. I was very disappointed when I saw it.

Very nice... and well done! My Germany visits have mainly been Nuremberg and Munich areas on WW2 tours. Not falling in love with Bavaria means that a visitor wasn’t paying attention.

Of course Berlin is my favorite city in Germany since I served there from 1961 to 1963 but Germany is a beautiful country and has so much to offer those who will take the time to see all the beauty.
Bamberg, Hanover, Helmstedt, Dresden, Kassel, Wurtzburg,Nuremberg, Munich are worth a visit.

Rothenburg o/T, Freudenstadt, Baden Baden, Füssen. to add a few more

Thank you Mike for returning again to have a look at one of my travelogues - welcome back, and thanks for your kind comment. There definitely is plenty of history evidenced in the walls of these buildings in Germany - as in so many other places and countries in Europe. And it can be sort of sad when some of these sacral buildings get repurposed into other venues.

Thank you greyfox for visiting again one of my tours - welcome back and thank you for your nice comment. Germany has so many interesting places, I haven't visited Nuremberg yet, was actually planning to do so at the end of this particular trip, but then I got sick in Poland and just wanted to get back to my son's place in Switzerland in a hurry - hopefully a visit will yet materialize in the near future.
