I saw someone a few weeks ago on FOX who studied the Russian language and read Pravda I believe daily while in school. He stated that reading the New York Times was very similar to reading Pravda.

As a NY City native I read the times (as a subscriber) for the firs 30 years of my life. But when "editorials" discised as news made it to the front page, I stopped reading it. Now I don't even believe the page numbers. But if you tightly roll up each section it makes a great fire starter
