I know this question is out of the ordinary but is there a reaonably priced brand photography vest anyone would recommend. Amazon reviews seem to be all over the place for vests so I'd rather turn to a trusted source, this group. Thanks!

What’s your definition of reasonably priced? What is reasonable for one person may not be reasonable for another.
Look at fishing vests, They have a lot of pockets like photography vests and can be less expensive.

Again how can a reply be offered when you don't say what you can afford, personally I hate them, they can be heavy and useless in the summer, I use my CCS system and black rapids I have three, however I would much rather have a fishing vest

"Reasonable"...
Probably because many people would suggest a gee-whiz-bag model at $300+.
So easy to spend other people's money.

Look at Army surplus vests they are GOOD and camo to boot ! - $30 for mine .....

What I have for casual use. $27 can't be beat. Many pockets, but not too bulky, very cool and breathable, and several color selections. But sizes run small.
