There is news of strange sightings of unknown Or "UFO" craft. And of course the gov't denies any connection to those sightings. Some believe they are from outer space. But the military and/or private companies have any number experimental advanced craft . Such as Lockheed"s SR 72 or a Gov't craft. Under the DARPA program. And of course these companies . or the US gov't deny everything. From a physics point of view visitors from other planets are just not feasable. The nearest other planet is hundreds of light years away. Perhaps even thousands. So unless speeds of many times faster than light is reached ET's arriving in our atmosphere are just not possible. and if the ycould travel faster than lihght speed we couldn't see them anyway
