Let’s go back to Saturday? Where were you raised (notice I didn’t say “grow up”, as I would never accuse you of that) that polling day was Saturday? As far back as I can remember it was always Tuesday. Apparently you are OK with changes, as long as they are your changes. How typical.

Federal e******n day is set by law, but not The Constitution.
Making it a Saturday would preclude a large group.of people from v****g, as its their sabbath.
Why not have E******n Week. A full 7 days?

A full 7 days leaves too much time for counting. ! day was enough before C***d and it should be enough after. Just make it an official federal day off, any day mid week

Why would a given amount of v**es be harder to count just because they came in over a longer period of time? I keep reading your posts looking for something that makes sense, but I’m having very limited success.

Ok, make it Saturday and Sunday. That solves the problem for the one day isn't enough whiners. Nobody said it ever was Saturday although way back before any of our times it could have been I suppose. V****g shouldn't be as easy as buying a soda and should count for more than a mere afterthought stop for a beer on the way home. V****g should matter. And frankly, for many of those the whiners constantly support it doesn't matter any more than that. So if they don't get to v**e it isn't a great loss. The thing that matters more than all other things combined is having honest, fair and legal e******ns. That means only properly identified legal citizens not otherwise prohibited from v****g. If it's a little inconvenient and a little challenging, great. It shows the v**e cast means something to the v**er.

We just add more polling places to handle the one day rush.
