Thanks, Photogirl for the Nohosting trick. And Lorima, thank you also for challenging us to use the phone to capture some nice images.

p.6 Love the last portrait of Jilian. I'll join you in the "non sport photographer" category.
Thanks so much, Pat! Guess you and I will just
have to be happy what we've learned so far...lol

Like Tim (Rolk) said, sports aren't his "best shots". I gave it a go this past week with our grandson's track meet. These were shot with a Canon and a 300mm lens - heavier than lead!
Pg 13 - These look good to me, Pat.
There might be a job for you at USA Today, after all!!!

Thanks, Joe...I could bull-crap you and say
I patiently planned all of those, but truth be
told, I just tried to pan with the action and
push the button...everything else was luck.

Pg 15 - Good job, Lesley. The hardest part was figuring
out where to focus, and by closing down to F/16.0, you
can usually luck out and get most of the action kind of
focused as long as the shutter speed is fast enough...

No, the RX10 is fully programmable, just with a
non detachable lens, and a whole lot less weight
and mass to carry around.
