It takes 100...one the change the bulb and ninety nine to tell you how they would make it better.

That is why one should take advice with a grain of salt or ignore it altogether...especially if you didn't ask for it.

We would be more aware of the Kelvin temperature. Probably the reason it’s being changed in the first place.

And opinions of which light bulb should be used...
With a dissertation on why.

Wait, wait, are there mirrorless lightbulbs? I may have seen one once with a prism.

And don't forget, arguing with the few that have experience in light bulbs, because some famous photographer said so.

What about all the folks that call FLASH TUBES, bulbs. If they try to SCREW one in or out they may break it or could be electrocuted- or get a lot of glass in their hand.

As for unsolicited advice- it doesn't go over very well on this forum but oftentimes many important things can be learned. It depends on where or whom it is coming from.

The 99 would have a 98 page discussion/rant/flame war on UHH over how to properly hold the bulb when changing, what support you'll need under you while you do this - aluminum/wood/fiberglass - whether the bulb needs to be off when you take out the old one, or put in the new one, how many inch-pounds of torque to tighten it to, if the light was on and failed, how long to wait for the bulb to cool off, is it ok to get OEM or imports from wherever, how to test the bulb to make sure the color temperature is as listed, etc etc etc ad nauseum.

The 99 would have a 98 page discussion/rant/flame ... (show quote)

The philosophic/psychologist people would want to find out if the bulb actually wants to be changed.
