Summertime favorite!
Costco has great, fresh ahi steaks that are perfect for this. It's simple enough to put together. Marinate the cubes of fish in a combination of tamari, toasted sesame oil, a little grated fresh ginger, sriracha (I prefer the better tasting Flying Goose over the ubiquitous Rooster brand, which has only heat and not very much flavor), and a little ponzu (or uzu, if I can find it), and some scallions. The salad is simple as well - basically whatever you like.

Terrific, but I just read that Costco is going to stop selling that tuna and also their Atlantic cod!

Actually, they will still sell Ahi, but not Bluefin. They won't be selling Wild Swordfish, Shark, Atlantic Cod, Chilean Sea Bass, Grouper, and Wild King Salmon. They will sell responsibly farmed fish, or wild harvested fish with the blue MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) label.
