Post Script as in everyday letter writing. I would have thought Post Script to be some old word processor or Font Set. Is it now a Photo application? They are running out of names and short abbreviations. And the word deteriorated?
"PS" is typically Photo Shop; "PostScript" is a font; "P.S."is still post script, as in an addendum to a note/letter. (Last I knew.) I still use P.S..
It depends on punctuation as to what is what. (If one wants to communicate effectively.)
You figured it out finally? Thanks for not explaining it (Deteriorated). PS, Ps, ps, P.S. whatever. As you know on the UHH correct spelling and grammar are no ons and we are to be tolerant.
Sigma ART series lenses? These are excellent and highly regarded. No idea about the others.
As for "4-frame mosaic," since it doesn't show up in a Google search, I think it could be a term that guy made up himself. A mosaic image would be consist of thousands of individual images made into one picture. There is software to let you do that. I made one a few years ago emoji-size. It reproduced very large here, but if you make it smaller, it looks decent - sort of. The larger version shows you how it was put together.
Sequator: free software which can track stars on multiple images, align stars and stack them. If you don't have an equatorial mount, by stacking non-blur star images in short-time exposures, the result will be almost similar to long-exposure on an equatorial mount.
Well, I guess we more or less agree. Though I use Ps for Photoshop, like Lr for Lightroom like Adobe does on their own products. It appears as Ps on my computer.

What was Print Shop abbreviated as years ago??? (I don't think that's in use anymore...)
I have an old high school friend who now lives in Tucson and we trade pictures back and forth; sunsets/sunrises, scenery mostly. She has a boyfriend who is really interested in astrophotography and the stars. She sent me one of his along with his comments about it wherein he mentioned the following: “4-frame mosaic, "Art" lenses, no obvious gradients after subtracting and flat fielding in Sequator, APOD.”
I have no idea what he means by those terms, can anyone give me a layman’s summary of what he’s doing to to photographs like this.
PS the image I received has deteriorated so much the star pinpoint are not sharp, but on their end it is.

Mosaic refers to a panorama stitched series of shots. APOD is Astronomy Picture of the Day…it's a NASA site.
