I'm a Pentax fan from way back, am heavily invested in Pentax and I have no interest in the big three here in the USA (canikony). Pentax/Ricoh may be the last of the DSLR manufacturers after the dust clears.

I hope to get a Pentax K1 after tax time so I can further utilize my collection of Pentax glass, including the fabled 50mm f1.2.

It's impressive on my black MX with winder.....good for available darkness shots. I bought it with my LX some 20 years ago....

I have Spotmatics, K-series, and M-series, but I’ve not yet added the LX to my herd. I’m still lusting for an LX. 🙁 Maybe one day soon . . .

When you find one do be aware that, per Eric Hendrickson, CLAs on the LX are much more expensive than on other Pentax 35mm film cameras. And, happy thought!, at least some of the internal circuitry is no longer available.
