On a recent trip to Ecuador, I took this candid shot of a gentleman sitting in a park in from of the New Cathedral in Cuenca.
I would welcome and appreciate any suggestions on how to improve.

It looks to me as though this image was taken in bright sunlight. While I really like its elements, my feeling is that it would be more intriguing if the overall tonality (brightness) were reduced and the contrast made more emphatic, especially in the subject's face. While this is mostly a matter of personal taste, you have a great image to work with here.

It was indirect bright sun, and he is facing the open sky (it is to my back). I will get a high contrast version a try thank you.
