I don't have a clue about how you could do the job these days in many places. I wish him the best. In his position I'd do a lot of research and find a place where the government and population solidly support law enforcement.

I agree with you completely, Q. His father was a Marine so that was his original goal. He switched to law enforcement in high school in spite of family advice. He couldn’t have picked a worse time with the current negative attitude towards police officers.

They're "adjusting" the Marine Corps, but he might do well to reconsider that as a more viable career path!

Thank you, Jill, I appreciate you stopping by. I usually take pictures when I cook something special. I was bored today so I borrowed two of my wife’s donuts and her coffee cup and had some fun. The beauty of food photography is that there is always something to shoot and you can eat it when you’re done (unless your wife catches you).

I’ve been looking at the reflection on the spoon since you wrote, Jill. Old guys have time to do that sort of thing. I think it’s a reflection of the donut but I may be wrong. 😀😀😀
