First time I have seen her in the morning at daylight...had 5 babies with her last season...all alone but pretty fat...you suppose? Just be careful which end you approach!
Good catch but I hope I never get the opportunity to photograph one close to my house. Where I lived before I saw one in my yard a couple times and I've come close to hitting one on the road but so far so good,🤞🤞

Cute!!
But just wait until she gets P.O'd, not a good idea to feed wild animals especially close to your house.
Nice captures but I would spray the area with some type of repellent. Maybe the spray that keeps deer and rabbits away from plants might work.
Beautiful animal and images. I usually take my feeders in at night, so the deer and racoons can't feast. Last July, I was approaching the feeders after dark, when a moving patch of white barely caught me eye -- a huge skunk! I was maybe three feet away, slowly and quietly backed away, thankfully without incident. Took a flashlight and checked carefully after that.

I have hit only one on a freeway but the effects lingered on my truck for weeks! I don't recommend it al all! When out camping in National Parks or most anywhere we have had skunks come snooping around & have learned to just be still & quiet, move slowly & ignore them...they ignored my family & I even when they were right under our camp chairs around the fire!
I live in an Urban Growth Area just outside of the City Limits...We have a huge reserve next to us & a creek coming into a small pond. As a result we have most every kind of wildlife imaginable all the time. I do not feed them purposely, and rarely see the larger ones. We have deer, Elk (long ago), bobcats, a Mt Lion, Black Bear, Coyotes, Foxes, Racoons, Possums, Skunks, Squirrels, Ground Squirrels, feral cats, Turkeys, Vultures, Hawks, ONE Bald Eagle flyby, Water Fowl, Turtles, & a huge variety of other birds that I like to attract & photograph. I love to see animals around & don't have many issues with them coming for a visit. Including skunks! LOl.. I have lived all my life close to wild life & do not have any city dweller fear of them just a very healthy respect & caution. I will consider taking in my feeders at night as that does save a lot of money I'm sure. Thanks, Walt

Good idea I may start taking the feeders in at night too. It will save on seeds! but I do have 5 Squirrels that raid me daily...I like seeing how ingenious they are solving everyth obstacle I put in their way! Thanks for your advice, Walt.

Thank you Joe, Better than the ones I take at 3AM!
Among the better Striped Skunk photos I have seen
Seen them all the time when I lived out in PA. Not a one where I am now. Thank you!!!
Great photos! Skunks are pretty to see, but not so to smell. I've had a couple come to eat what I put out for my outdoor cat, but haven't seen one for quite some time. Also get opossums and raccoons occasionally. I live in the heart of urbanized Dallas, too.
