Fred, when one is presented with a subject such as this, capturing the color was necessary. So, it's just one reason and that reason was perched on a rock.

This is an excellent capture, not only capturing the photograph of the little critter, but capturing the interest of it as well. Do you happen to have any idea what type of lizard this is?
