I have it but frankly never use it -- for me, it's "not worth it."
I believe the latest firmware updates allow Bluetooth-capable Leicas (e.g., the Q2 and SL2) to sync with your mobile phone and transfer GPS data from your phone to the EXIF data in the image files.

I just took delivery of a Q2. I will probably set it up just for the GPS.

Thanks tcthome. It feels nice in my hand. The lens is bigger than I anticipated, but not a problem and it makes it easier to brace. It doesn’t come with a user manual, but if you request one Leica will send it for free. I have been using the on line manual. I have only taken some practice shots while setting it up, can’t wait to actually use it.
