I had a Canon image PROGRAF iPF 5000 that the manual was complicated and virtually no help, technical Support was useless and when the printer failed the Company offered to send a repair technician. Just to get him into the house was 800+$ for actual repairs. I explained that I could get another new Printer and that their product never produced a good print no matter calibration, paper profiles, etc. and constant error messages. I will never buy another Canon printer it is very complicated to use and not user friendly! As far as their Canon cameras the Company has better competition from other camera manufacturers! I will hand it to canon the company jumped out in front of the other companies to replicate the SLR film camera. The Company has the responsibility to have better relationship with the Consumer on servicing their product which they have failed miserably to provide.

I think so, too!

Go to:
https://www.bbb.org/ and click on File a Complaint.
Better Business Bureau will contact Canon headquarters on your behalf.

It really worked for me with a Dell desktop, after 5 repairs in a month, I was already ready to throw in the towel.
I contacted BBB and 2 days later, a Support manager from Dell corporate called me and offered an exchange, they sent me a brand new desktop, updated to the latest spec!

Give them a try, btw it is totally free!

Take care,

Did you use the Canon Pro service? I am not a Pro in any sense but given I had the 5DM4 and mostly all "L" lenses, I called them. They were very helpful - especially with my 24mm Tilt-Shift. I have sent my two Canons in (other was a 5DM2) and they were returned quickly and everything worked well. I love Canon, been with them since the Rebel 2000...cried when I had to downsize in weight to the Olympus (which is also a good camera but . . . ). Definitely a first world problem.

When I have an unresolved complaint, I send the letter and at the bottom, I type "cc: Person's Name, Esq." Then the recipient thinks I have copied my attorney . . . but I haven't (yet) . . . saved the fee. Just a thought.
