Nikon D850 is back on sale for $2496. With PayBoo card at BHPhoto, saved another $204 in California sales tax.

I told her it's for Mothers' Day. Nice try!! In return, she gets to buy me a new sewing machine for Fathers' Day.
Ahhh... harmony.

I have to do trade-offs all the time. It's only fair.

A real pro negotiator you are. (or did she show you the sale?) Have fun with your new camera.

My wife has a couple of specialized sewing machines. $2500 wouldn't buy either one of them several years ago.

Not me. We each have our own $$ in about the same amounts. She buys what she wants, I buy what I want. No problemo! Harry PS Most of mine is dog related as I field trial Pointers and English Cockers in their respective venues, so - trainer fees, entry fees, travel (Every field trialer needs a truck!) etc. Hers is all over the place, clothes, wine and who knows what. :-) Harry PS When she comes with me to a field trial, it's on my dime, although she may pick up a meal tab here and there. Bar tabs belong to me exclusively however! <g>

My wife’s last sewing machine would have paid for a Nikon D6 and 600mm Nikon f/4 to hang on the front of it. I don’t have one and probably never will have, but at least she’s happy🤭
