The most alien-looking flower in the plant kingdom, that one.
We have wild passion flowers in our area - near Atlanta GA - they transplant easily and are happy in full sun. We discovered that they are favored food for the Gulf Fritillary, a lovely butterfly. The caterpillars feed voraciously on the leaves (and even on the fruit); they can strip a "branch" of the passion flower rapidly, but the vine regrows rapidly. At one point we had passion flower vines climbing up our mailbox post.

So far I have a fairly good series including mating (too far away to be ideal), growth of the caterpillars, feeding shots, adults enjoying flowers, etc. About all I lack is a shot of egg laying and emerging from its chrysalis.
