I've been experimenting with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) photography for about a year now. I went on a hike in the local Santa Cruz Mountains last week and got these, among others. The first shot is the subject (bushes, moss, a few flowers) as seen. The next shots are made handheld using a neutral density filter to allow a 3.2" exposure. I used a 24-105mm zoom and zoomed in 6 or so discrete (NOT continuously) steps during the exposure. While I had no expectations of anything interesting, I like to try new subjects, and was really surprised by the wild results. I applied some basic Lightroom adjustments and enhanced colors using the HSL color picker in Lightroom. Comments and critiques welcome.
I'm baaaack, and it's Free Sunday. No suggested subject to this challenge, just keep it family friendly and we'll all remain friends. Thanks to Lorima and ETmom for the challenges this past week. I enjoyed all the posts and will look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.

We spent last Saturday helping with Paul and Sarah's addition. Real progress has been made - the girls now have separate bedrooms, the hardwood floor was installed in the living area, and furniture has been brought in from the former living room. There's a lot of work still to be done but it's starting to look really good!
Pretty cool place here. An old nun's convent which dates back to the 1800's but they ran out of nuns and the town took it over. Bike and hiking trails up to there and it became quite artistic with the years
