Took a quick trip to Belfair State Park to take our ever-anxious dog for a walk. 52 F, light breeze from the South, mostly cloudy to bright, eye-burning sunlight! Two Terns and one larger Gull, about eight Crows and a few Swallows buzzing us- could not get an in-focus shot but must go back and try again soon. The swallows around our property fly above the trees- about 50 feet up- making the images tiny at best. Belfair is open so they fly just over our heads to feed on some bug hatch or other.
The Crow welcomed us to the beachfront area. Tide was out-way out- and only a few Buffle heads were out, along with a few Mallards and Common Mergansers. Too far out for useable images- heat distortion mostly. Two GHBs flew by-got some great shots ruined by Heat Shimmer!
The Terns are fighting because he did not bring back any fish!
I managed a weak and somewhat reedy whistle and called in a Song Sparrow.
Downloads are our friends!
Enjoy!

Thanx! Cute little guy, stayed close to me and the bush.

It is when wildlife is present. It is pleasant there, to but campers and day visitors really disturb the critters.
Thanx for viewing!
