These are just odds and end that finally wrap up my last visit to Black Point Drive. The first thistle is one that I have been playing with extensively. Be sure to watch The Exploration of Digital Artistry to see how I managed to torment this poor little thistle.

The Grackle was sitting at the very top of a tree adding his opinions to everything I did. He was very difficult to photograph but I do think he is pretty. It wasn't a good day for alligators. Most of the big ones were not in sight. The two smaller ones I posted were in the roadside canal/ditch along the exit to the drive-not a pretty setting.

The picture of the Green Heron was kind of an experiment. It was from a significant distance and initially I didn't think I had anything worth keeping. However, I did an extreme crop, as you can see, then used Topaz Sharpen AI and finally Topaz Gigapixel AI. It was my first time using Gigapixel and I was pleased to end up with a usable shot.

Beautiful tour, Carol! BTW they are not "left overs", they are "encores."
