I don't get that anymore, I just sign in directly; but, I think different parts of the country and the world get different subjects listed. And sometimes, with as many new topics that are listed in just one day, I don't think all of them are listed on any issue of the digest. 122 new topics have been started since 9am...that would be a lot to list.

I still don't understand what the digest is, but are you saying that all topics are not available to all members?
with 27k plus postings a week no one is going to see them all but I would like to think all of you could look at my postings if you wanted to.

This is the Digest, mailed out a little after 5:00 AM. It doesn't include all topics that were posted in the previous 24 hrs.

OK, I get the digest every morning and start looking at topics and posts there in. I start topics and make posts after I get the digest. I have noted thoses topics and posts are not on the digest the following morning.Am I missing something or just spinning my wheels?

At the top of your page, after you have signed in, there are listings at the top in the header; Active Topics, Watched Topics and Newest Topics. Every topic on the forum can be reached from one of these three places. Active topics are the ones currently being seen and answered the most, watched topics are the ones you have posted replies to or specifically click 'Watch' when you read it, newest topics are the ones posted within a 24 hour time frame.

The digest, when I received it, was just a little taste of everything posted. There are also many other sections of the forum you will not hear, nor receive anything about unless you specifically subscribe to those sections, .. Sports Photography, True Macro, etc. This can be done from My Profile. Go to your profile and subscribe to these different sections and you'll see even more topics that might or might not be listed in the Digest.

There is so much available on the forum now that wasn't when it first began, and the Digest is just a place to start.

When the digest gets sent out it only grabs a certain number of topics that I believe are the most recent activity. Try submitting approx 3:45am Central time and see what happens.

Thanks, Wahawk. I'll try doing that. What confused me was I thought all posts were listed in the digest, but I see that's not the case. I also see that I've been missing posts because I've only recently started checking out the website.

I do hope you manage to find your way around. It's really not too hard to do. If you get lost, someone will point you in the right direction and there are some interesting folks hanging about on these threads of photography and conversation. There's so much talent and experience here and most are willing to share and help. How cool is that!!
