Hi thank you for your response, sigma have been making cameras for some time now. I have has a sigma sd14 for some years, I have just upgraded to the sigma sd1 which is a 46mp camera so I am hoping I can get some great photos with that many mp. I can hear everyone now saying its not the camera it's the person using it lol regards allan

Hi Allan
Just loked up the specs on your new camera - it sounds awesome - 2 questions:

Is it classed as full frame?

and why did you pick Sigma rather than the popular Canon or Nikon cameras - or even Pentax, Olympus?

Yes it is full frame, the reason i picked Sigma is i have had a Sigma SD14 for a number of years now, (it takes Great photos, 14mp).

i have spent quite a lot of money on Lenses. (I have about 20 now), including Prime, telephoto, Zoom, Wide Angle and Macro, so it seemed a bit stupid to change make of Camera as all my lenses fit the new Camera. so far i am really impressed. Regards Allan

ps i have added a few photos i took today.
