In order to save on travel costs all three teams played two games. Because of covid rules only two teams at the complex at a time and they sterilized the dugout between games. Made for a long day. No close games, so not much in the way of photos. Summit went 2-0, Hood River Valley 1-1, and Crook County 0-2 on the day. Summit is the Oregon school that has made national news because their 800 meter runner passed out from oxygen debt a couple yards from the finish line and fell getting a concussion. Despite the fall, she slit across the finish line in a time of 2:08, a new school record. This week the Oregon Health Authority finally updated their mask mandates for high school athletes and athletes in non contact sports no longer have to wear them if they are at least six feet from anyone else.
Good action! It appears the runners were safe. How about the osprey?

The osprey's are doing fine. They don't like baseball games, but for some reason don't mind track meets. I don't know what that is all about.
