The Madras White Buffalos won 16-2 over the Molalla Indians. Molalla had way too many errors.

There seems to be this thing about flying objects over the Madras sports fields. I think it is on the flight path to the hospital. This delayed the game for a short time.

Epic pivotal moments all btbg! Your mastery of the craft is exceptional as is your kit.
Lest others here are unaware of your kit and settings for this first fabulous image it is:
Nikon D5 at 1/8000; f5.6; ISO 1250; FL 280 Lens: AF 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 (Tamron or Sigma)?

Keep in mind that the Nikon D5 has a resolution of 20.8 Megapixel and is capable of 12 fps
You can actually read the Wilson Logo on the ball at point of release (max acceleration) in the first image!

However btbg my sincere compliments on your "social reportage" in this amazing series...
The first and last images of your post truly brings home the pandemic crisis we all are now experiencing throughout our nation. This airlift "Mercy Flight" scenario is all too familiar to me living within walking distance of a Level II Trauma Center.

btw my best friend and colleague is an ICU Nurse working in her hospital's Covid Ward.
Sometimes continuous 12 hour shifts now as their staff is becoming overwhelmed.

Thank you again btbg for sharing your stellar sports artistry and social reportage...
You not only are a master of your craft but also a socially aware and responsible gentleman.

Please stay safe!

Thank you btbg... I kind of figure it was the Sigma Sport... Their "Sport" series optics are absolutely superb (especially in the hands of a true master of the craft!)

Again many thanks for sharing...
Please stay safe...
