Heat and humidity are climbing here in Florida - my last visit to Wako for this season......8-(
No shortage of people or photographers - but it was a very nice day - cool breeze out of the East and dense fast moving clouds that led to challenging light. Wood Storks are by far the most prevalent nesting birds there now 8-(
In 30 years, this was the first time I see snakes at Wako - a pair of Cotton Mouth Moccasins to boot !
I waited 30 minutes for the Stork family shot ......
Canon 80D and Canon 70-300 IS II and 400 prime.
Thanks for stopping by and to ALL for commenting ! .......Larry

Good pictures. Those lenses and your skills work a treat together.
Nice! Where do they put those beaks when they are still in the shell?
Great set. Let me first say that I hate snakes but your image is quite good. And those are some ugly kids mom has there.
Outstanding set, especially the Cottonmouth!
Very nice shots, particularly the Least Bittern.
Outstanding variety and shots.
