Minor effect now, but future generations may not be able to say that.

I have read the article. Chicken little the sky is not falling! This scientist speaks of a property that the earth has exhibited for millions of years. Known as precesion this common motion, as part of the earth axis was known even to the Myans who had calculated its value in order to produce their calendar. The earths axis has a "wobble" as part of the Axis of rotation property. it takes 26,000 years for this wobble to complete one cycle or 72 years to turn one degree. This effect, precession, is the cause of what this scientist is discussing therefore making the physical changes of earth by this and not man causing the problem. This is not a secret from anybody just the known physics of earth astronomers have known for some time. The information can be found with a computer. Key words: precession, nutation and obliquity. Politicians who are ignorant of this are the people blaming the wrong reasons for the earths changes.

Ken, I'm so glad that we are lucky enough to have you on this forum. In one brief sentence you have refuted not just all the facts that are available, but have finally put to rest the whole question. Thank you Ken. You are indeed a most brilliant scientist.
What we need is a New Earth!!!
G****l w*****g caused by humans? Yet another h**x and conspiracy theory that somehow mostly affects the more intelligent and educated amongst us. Like the expert climatologists, scientists, and so on. There will always be an exception and "this scientist" is one of them. Quote: "I should know. That used to be my job." says the man who in his previous job he says "I spent about a decade turning those same methods to the subject of climate and its implications for energy technologies. I did this first as chief scientist for the oil company BP"

Saying what's happening to us & the planet is not happing when we can all see it happing -- That's Crap Science
The arrogance of anybody who thinks man can affect g****l w*****g. We can't even make it rain. Those who perpetuate this h**x always conflate "man made g****l w*****g" with natural g****l w*****g when trying to defend their BS. Explain the temperature rise on Mars? Must that probe rolling around.

That's an interesting concept -- Since "Man" with his weapons can eliminate just about all life on this planet
And has had that ability for almost all of my lifetime.
But your right for the most part --
We still can't consistently make it rain & we sure don't have the ability to eliminate the common cold.
PS: Would be nice if we gave ourselves a sufficient future for our species to work on those problems.
