A Walk-In-The-Park

Clear sky today with a temperature of 65-deg. F so it was a great day for a walk through the park. Of course hoards of others through the same thing however I get off the paved tracks and wander through the fields and along the edges of the woods so in essence I have it all to myself.

The ground was a bit soggy in places and the new knee and elbow pad came in quite handy for I enjoy getting shots laying down and looking up and catching a bit of the sky when I can.

It was also an outing to experiment with my DIY flash diffusion which turned out much to my liking and using it gave me a few ideas of tweaking it to make it that much better.

Thanks, Kpmac. Things have exploded with green here except for the heavy weeded areas which should green up in a few weeks. Trees are full of leaves and most early flowers have bloomed. We are still in our rainy period with breaks in between like today now.

Thanks, Quixdraw. I can't discount how important the spring rains are for it would be devastating without them. An inherent problem however is that the rain water tends to pool in the low areas and as soon as the weather stays warm the mosquitos thrive in there as a breeding ground.

Sippy, I am getting a little jealous of your photos and walk arounds. Keep them up.

Thanks for the compliment and having a camera in hand and viewing the smallest of things is my way of filling my time since retirement.
