Here was the view from my office window this morning.

Opened the DV window and had just enough room to squeeze the lens out. No angle to look throught the viewfinder, so it was just a matter of squeeze and pray

Great and unusual cloud picture. Good to be in the right place at the right time. Having the right stuff handy is helpful too.

Trouble is lugging the 5D and two lenses to work every day while cycling. I gave up on SLR's about 10 years back and went small digital..but the quality was not there. so went back to SLR just this month. not regretting it, but I do see my self needing to buy another 'pocket' digital

Will be more to come if I can get the boss to let me make my own DV window pane, ( the little flip out side window, about 4x4 inches)

If I can make my own, I'll cut in to it and find a 'sacrificial ' lens on e-bay, that I can permanently fit (glue) in to the plexiglass , so I can just then manoeuvre the aircraft to get the shot I want

:)
