Green Mountains near Manchester, VT at 2600 ft elevation vs Waterbury, CT at sea level

Finally managed to bust outta' Boston for a bit. Spring is not quite as advanced at elevation in the Green Mountains as it is just outside Waterbury, CT. Nothing in bloom at the higher elevation as everything is at sea level and 120 miles south. If CT had the rain that Boston did last night the magnolia blooms are most likely gone. All shot with EM1 mk ii and either PRO 12-40 or 40-150.

Nice Photos. Waterbury, CT, however is not at sea level. Elevation of Waterbury varies between 220 to 820 ft.

Thanks. My senses of direction and geography are minimal at best.

Thank you for commenting. Had several large blocks of time during which I was alone with the camera in good weather. A true luxury.

Thanks. Had the luxury of time and no pressure. Pretty much had the camera(s) on my hip for a week. Much to process.

Thanks. With the crumby weather, travel restrictions, and mask (wearing a mask and using a camera simultaneously is not a particularly pleasant thing). Hadn't been to VT since August but anticipate a number of trips up to teach during the summer. And two retreats, both on the water.
