I really like the last one: catching everyone focused on the ball!

I like your sports photos. I think we tend to shoot for different places and I like that either can be successful. I shoot all of these from over the top of the fence in right center field.

Thank you btbg for the comment on my photos. For shooting over the top of the fence is not an easy task. You have done quite well.

Nikon D5, Sigma Sport 150-600. The softball is set up so that the shutter speed is between 5,000 and 8,000, with the lens wide open. So, f5.6 t0 6.3. Mostly around 6.3 as I usually am at about 580mm. Focuses a little faster there than at 600mm.

That puts the ISO somewhere around 1250 depending on the amount of sunlight.

Just a thought and I know you didn't ask but here goes anyway. If you lower your shutter speed to lets say 1/2000 at 5.6 your image quality will go up. Softball the girls don't run as fast as the guys. Just a thought..
How do you like the Sigma Sport lens, my Nikon 200-500 5.6 is fine in the bright sunlight when it comes to focusing fast. Just ok. I was wondering about your lens, a lot people shoot with it.
