Street Scenes in Xi'an China

Took a recent trip to Xi'an China and this set includes a few pictures of the Bell Tower, the Muslim Quarter Gate and a couple kind of enough to pose for me.
Love his smile.
While the first one is a record shot with a lot of traffic I had to crop out, in the future I will try and blur the traffic with a slower shutter speed.
Is the one picture with the flowers in the foreground a rule of three example?

Beautiful shots but they all are a little out of focus. They aren't clear and sharp. The first three are much better and clearer that the last group.
