Central Park's Bow Bridge in B&W

Although Central Park in NYC has many attractive pedestrian bridges, Bow Bridge is probably the most photographed. It was finished in 1862 and, unlike most of the other bridges, made of cast iron rather than stone. It is easy to find many beautiful color photographs of it on the internet, but I think black and white ones do a better job in showing its grace and beauty. I hope you like the three photos I am attaching. Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome.

Great images in B&W. My preference is for the third bow bridge.

I am not a B&W fan usually, but I think it is right for these excellent shots, Allan.

Very good photos. We couldn't duplicate that bridge today, the cast iron expertise is long gone. It was the plastic of that era, and they could do amazing things with it.

I have never made it to the park.
Originally NJ we made class trips to NY.
You have given me reason to maybe cross the river one more time.

I appreciate all the supportive comments. I was interested in any preferences, particularly between the second and third. My choice remains the third. Thanks again.

Very nice photography. I like #1 the best in download. The others are too close.
