A few shots Jan and I took at Lake Tahoe this weekend. We spent the weekend camping a Zephyr Cove Camp ground, just across the street from the lake. All can be enlarged for a better view. Visability at the lake runs about 50 feet, but is declining as the years go by, still a very beautiful place. There are all types of camping, from tent to full RV hookups.

I have never been to Lake Tahoe, it is beautiful! Your photos are pristine, such a clear lake. Thanks for sharing them Mike

Thanks.... This is just one small area on the east side of the lake, Emerald Bay West side of the lake, and the waterfalls above are great too, and I'll try next time up to get some pictures of them. If you are ever close to Tahoe it's a must see place....;0)

Thanks... Mike

You must not have been done posting when I made my comment, I love the cabin/house, the paddle boat would be a hoot, and whale rock... cool! If I ever get the chance, you can count on it Mike, Tahoe is on my list! Looking forward to the waterfalls too

Nice shots. Also nice that Zephyr cove and Stateline are on the Nevada side so if you are retiring, want to stay close to wacky California, but avoid California income and other taxes which are probably soon to get worse, just live on the Nevada side of Tahoe. But then I dream.

Thanks Grandma.... I think the last test they did you could see a white disk down to 50 feet. Lake Tahoe is what feeds our Truckee River that runs through the center of Reno...;0)

Yes it is Fred....;0) I came up from San Diego area over 16 years ago. I still love San Diego, but knew things were not going to get any better.... Especially the traffic.

Gotta give up something to get something. I don't know any friends who have moved out of this area who have returned or even regretted moving.

We miss our old friends the most. Some of them do get up here for Hot August Nights though. I lived in San Diego for over 36 years. Our daughter and her family are still there too.
